Homeguard Volunteer Spotlight
June 2004

The Nulty Family, Cortland, NY
As first-time coordinators of the 2004 Volunteer Workday, the Nulty Family, from Cortland, NY, was very enthusiastic about the new “job” they were given as Friends' volunteers. Members since 2000, the Nultys are faithful attendees of our Spring and Fall Musters in addition to the volunteer projects before their “promotion” to coordinators.
Phil and Wendy and daughters Meghan and Molly planned and organized every detail of the work project, commiting many long hours, taking a few trips to Gettysburg, and writing lots of e-mails to get the job done! They have also continued to have a great relationship with the many vendors we work with as well as the National Park Service maintenance employees.
Thanks to the Nulty Family for a great June Volunteer Workday-- even though it rained, it was still a grand success!
