Tim Smith is a popular historian with a particular interest in Gettysburg's town history.

Itinerary:

9 a.m.: Program begins at the Adams County Public Library

140 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg. Tim Smith will give participants a thorough look at Gettysburg's evolution--from its earliest days up through the momentous battle. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers!

11:30 a.m.: Lunch (on your own)

1 p.m.: Field program. Mr. Smith will lead participants on a tour of the town, to examine up close some of Gettysburg's most historic places.

4 p.m.: Program ends.
