Friday, July 23

6:30 p.m.

D. Scott Hartwig kicks off the seminar with a presentation of the town of Gettysburg in the summer of 1863, especially the town's ordeal during the Battle of Gettysburg.

Terrence Winschel will take a closer look at the plight of the Vicksburg civilians, who also suffered the effects of the Civil War in the summer of 1863.
