The Friends is committed to helping the National Parks at Gettysburg acquire and preserve relevant artifacts that help illustrate Gettysburg's place in American history. After acquiring a relevant artifact, the Friends donates the item to the museum at the Gettysburg National Military Park or the Eisenhower National Historic Site.
