Welcome to The Great Task Before Us This is the place where you can make your family’s Civil War heritage part of the 150^th anniversary commemoration.  We haven’t “officially” started the blog yet, but please check back for a possible update or two before April when we begin.  Once the project is started, be sure to check back everyday for a fascinating new story of a Civil War soldier, sailor or civilian.
