FAQ's about Friends' membership...
When will I receive my membership card?
If you are a new member, your member card should arrive within 4-6 weeks of our receipt of your membership application.
Why is my membership in only one name?
The Friends does not currently offer joint or family memberships. Due to the increasing numbers of events and programs offered, each person who registers (unless guests are permitted) must have their own member number.
How can I donate on a monthly basis?
Members donating at the Patron or First Corp Levels may elect to have monthly payments deducted from a credit card or their checking account via direct debit. Please contact the Development Specialist to set up this no-hassle way of donating monthly.
My company has an employee matching gift program. How do participate?
Contact your Human Resources Department for a matching gift donation application. Return the completed form to the Friends along with your donation and we will complete the application and return it to your employer for processing.
Where can I find my member number?
If you do not have your member card on hand, you can find your member number listed behind your name on your newsletter or any other mailing you may receive from the Friends.
What is the First Corps?
Those who give $150 or more for their annual dues are First Corps level members. First Corps members are invited to exclusive events held throughout the year such as the First Corps Breakfast held annually at the Spring Muster.
How long will it take until I receive my benefits?
Generally, acknowledgements of donations and benefits will be mailed within 4-6 weeks of receipt. Please keep all acknowledgements as receipts for tax purposes.
I need to update my membership information. Who do I contact?
If you have recently moved, received a new credit card for monthly payments, or have a new email, please contact the Members Services Department at membership@gettysburgfoundation.org or the Membership Coordinator at 717-334-3460 to make any changes to your membership.
